Welcome to the Peer Lab blog! We will try to keep you updated about what we’re doing in the lab.
This summer, three Earlham students are working for six weeks in the lab, supported by Earlham funding. Rising seniors Karli Oxford-Jordan and Idara Udo-Inyang are joined by rising junior Lara Khalifeh.
They are primarily working on the Fixed/Growth Mindset study conducted at the Joseph Moore Museum on Earlham’s campus. They ask visitors with children ages 8 to 12 if they would like to participate. It takes about 20 minutes and kids tend to enjoy it.
Over the summer and next semester, we hope to launch a number of studies across age ranges so that more visitors can participate. Our partnership with the museum is based on the Living Laboratory model, which helps to bring science to the public.
